Former Uttarakhand Chief Secretary N.S. Napalchyal has taken oath as the new Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of the state. Napalchayal was administered oath of office by Guv. Margaret Alva at a function held at Rajbhavan in Dhradun. Napalchyal has succeeded Dr. R.S. Tolia, the first CIC of state whose five-year-tenure ended on October 17. During the brief function, attended by Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank, his cabinet colleagues, Alva also administered oath of office tot Prabhat Dabral and Supreme Court Advocate Anil Sharma as the Information
Commissioners.
