Attero gets Rs 15 cr funding

e-Waste recycling firm Attero Recycling, which has a plant in Roorkee, has received Rs 15 crore funding, led by Mauritius-based Granite Hill India Opportunities Fund. In a second round of investment led by Granite Hill, the previous investors IndoUS Venture Partners and Draper Fisher Jurveston, have also participated, Attero said in a statement. Attero plans to use the funds to further enhance the technology of their plant and strengthen their collection system, it added.


Sameet S. Mehta will join the board of Attero as a director on behalf of Granite Hill. "We have partnered with Attero after realizing their potential and looking at their remarkable progress in the last two years," Mehta said. Attero has a plant in Roorkee and recycles about 36,000 tonnes of e-waste per annum.
